Maddy posted the picture on the CTAH Facebook page and tagged Michelle. She shared the post.
Alice’s neighbor, Carol, saw the post and knew that her neighbor’s dog
was missing. She contacted a mutual friend of the neighbor via Facebook.
Carol also had Michelle’s cell #, and gave it to the owner, Stacy.
Stacy called Michelle Sunday morning and got Alice’s phone number.
By 9:00 Sunday morning, Stacy and Daisy were reunited!
How refreshing and rewarding that this had a happy ending. Unfortunately, pets are lost every day. It is said that 1 in 3 pets will become separated from his owner – LOST – at some time. We recommend that your pet wear an ID tag with your current address and phone number on it. Also, a rabies tag can help in a LOST PET situation. And of course, microchips go a long way to insure that you and your pet will be reunited if you become separated. Microchips are affordable – less than $50 for the chip and lifetime registration.
