Our goal is to provide quality individualized medical care in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and last minute cancellations inconvenience those individuals who need access to veterinary care. We would like to remind you of our policy regarding missed appointments.
A missed appointment is when you fail to show up for an appointment without a phone call, or cancel without providing at least 24-hour notice.
A veterinary/client relationship is built on mutual trust and respect. As such, we strive to be on time for your scheduled appointments, and ask that you give us the courtesy of contacting us when you are unable to keep your appointment. As a courtesy, we provide reminder calls/emails before your appointment. However, you are responsible for remembering your appointment regardless. Our Missed Appointment Policies are outlined below.

Late Arrival Policy:
Our goal is to give every patient the best level of care and the time that requires. We make every effort to be on time for all our appointments. Unfortunately, when even one patient arrives late, it can throw off the entire schedule for that day. Therefore, clients that arrive 15 minutes (or more) late to their scheduled appointment will be rescheduled. We apologize for any inconvenience this might cause.
A “no-show” without notice of cancellation may prevent us from seeing another animal in need of medical attention. A “no-show” is a client that misses an appointment without providing 24-hour notice of cancellation. A failure to be present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in the patient’s chart as a “no-show.” The first time there is a “no-show” the Missed Appointment Fee will be waived for the client, as we understand that some circumstances are unavoidable. A second occurrence will result in a charge of $26.50 to the client’s account; this is ½ of the Missed Appointment Fee. From the third occurrence on, the full Missed Appointment Fee of $52 will be charged to the client’s account at the time of scheduling.
Surgery Appointment No-Show Policy:
A surgery or anesthetic procedure “no-show” is a client who misses a scheduled surgical appointment without providing 24-hour notice of cancellation. The first time this occurs our staff will call to offer a rescheduled appointment time and the Missed Surgery Fee will be waived. The second missed surgical appointment occurrence will result in a call to reschedule as well as a charge of $100 for the Missed Surgery Fee. From the third occurrence on, the Missed Surgery Fee of $100 will be charged to the client’s account and a $100 holding fee will be charged at the time of rescheduling. This holding fee will be credited towards the surgical procedure.
Habitual missed appointments may result in dismissal from the practice.
